Erik Jessen is a graphic arts instructor at SOWELA Technical Community College in Lake Charles, LA. He has been immersed in the arts since an early age and continues to support and promote Southwest Louisiana’s artist culture and advocates for technology and art. Jessen continues to involve his students in local projects that will give Southwest Louisiana the best first impression. His recent design efforts include designing the WAITR logo. Other projects include the interior design of The Innovation Studio, which is located at the Central Public Library and helping with restoring Millennium Park. Erik is a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA. Among his many accomplishments, are being accredited as an Adobe Certified Educator, a multiple Addy® Award winner, and a winner of the Los Angeles ADOBE MAX Shutterstock Pixel Master award. What he cherishes most though, is his loving family – his wife Kaela, and their two boys, Gram and Palmer, and their daughter, Elliot.
